Marshmallow burning.

Here is my first pass on the burning of the marshmallow. I tried matching the flames to the flamethrower's flames.

I am having a problem removing the "blocky" look of the flames even after playing around with the shading quality and would love any input!

  1. Hey Jon, That blockyness usually occurs when you are emitting a large amount of density/fuel, etc because every voxel is getting packed so heavily that it can only be displayed as a dense block of density/etc. I'd see if you can get the same look by lowering the amount of density/fuel etc from your emitter. If it doesn't go fast enough, increase the bouyancy, or if it doesn't look dense enough, adjust your curves. That should help. Can you please share this info with Seth. He's having the same issue on the first few frames of his explosion. Let me know if that helps.
