Personal Checklist
Just my personal checklist of things I need to remember to do for the project. You can ignore this.
Participating Media
Contact Shadows
Color Bleeding
Depth of Field
Object to Object contact (dust, sparks)
Camera Effects (glints, glows, flares)
Colored Shadows (sky color + environment color = shadow color)
Soft Shadows
Eyes (depth, single spec, spec placement)
Detail the Object Usage (spec map, bump map, opac map, tex map)
More to be added later.

Team Leads
List of leads (taken from the Disney's summer schedule...sort of)
Story - All
Concept Art - Jon
Layout - Chris and Steph
Modeling - Steph
Rigging - Megha
Animation - Nathan
FX - Chris
Shading - Chris
Lighting - Jon & Chris
Compositing - Jon
I know I don't have this all correct (I feel like I'm forgetting Jon in something). Also remember that these are the LEADS, not necessarily just the roles. Obviously we'll be helping each other out with multiple tasks.
Comment, correct, do what you do.

THE story
Ok before it dissolves from our brains, I wanted to recap the story we agreed on yesterday.
Open shot of toy store.
Cut to display window where you see a robot dog and a very cute classic toy dog side by side. Prices for toys are written on small boards next to the toys.
Silhouetted figures walk by, one pauses to look at the dogs in the window. Robot dog starts to do a fancy elaborate trick to impress the kid and finishes with a flourish. Cut to classic dog, which strikes and incredibly cute and irresistible pose/look. Shop door bell rings, hand reaches from behind the shadows and takes classic dog (register "cha-ching" sounds). Robot dog looks downfallen. Another classic dog replaces the purchased dog and the robodog's price sign is replaced with "10% off!".
Another kid stops to watch the dogs. Robodog does another fancy trick, classic dog does his cuteness, kid chooses classic dog again, classic dog is replaced, Robodog price is marked down.
Cut to another kid, another robodog trick, another cute pose, another discount. (repeat X amount of times showing passage of time with lighting)(Robodog varies his tricks/gives up as time goes on).
ENDING/payoff has yet to be determined. Here is my idea:
Robodog is sitting down, crestfallen at the end of the day, 95% off sign next to him. Another kid walks by, but lo! the child is a Robokid! The Robokid and the Robodog look at each other and have an instant connection, and the Robokid ends up purchasing the Robodog.
Any other ideas/corrections/endings you would like to propose, please add as comments so we can keep this all in one post!
