  1. I wasn't there today, so I don't know what comments you got. It's looking really good. I want to hear those audio cues in there. It's confusing without them. I like the more profile version of the tail gag. It works better with the leaving frame bit and cuts better with the surrounding shots which are both more three quarter. The casket works nice. The timing on the flame thrower is much better. The magic hat camera zoom is odd timingwise. Maybe try the same camera/timing gag as the flame thrower with just the robot Dog, the trick and then the zoom out. The ending is very busy with cuts and movement so I have a suggestion. After the flame thrower cut to the 3/4 camera with the cute dog in the foreground and the robot dog in the sad pose but zoom in a hare so the cut dog goes out of focus and the robot dog is bigger in frame. Then have him realize what he has to do and start to assume the cute pose. Cut on that action to the two shot of both dogs as he nails his cute dog pose. After the hand shot keep the robot Dog still slightly looking left to right like before and have just the one child's hand moving right to left toward him for continuitit looks great. You're almost there guys, it looks great.

  2. Thanks Rob! I especially like your suggestion for the ending sequence.

    Notes for the group:
-Slightly (tiny tiny tiny bit) faster zoom on shot 1.0. Perhaps pan the camera to the left a bit as well. Are we doing a dissolve between 1.0 and 1.1?
-Shot 1.3: The angle (and similar ones) does not appear to be fixed. The dogs still need more frame-space between them.
-Shot 2.1: Robodog needs to be scaled larger. The Disney dog's scale was good. Maybe even a little larger than that.
-6.1 (magic): /agree with Rob that the zoom is weird. It's zooming while the dog is still doing his trick. /agree again with Rob that it should be more like the flamethrower sequence with a quick zoom-out AFTER the trick.
